Yeah it's cross season again.
I'll be lucky if I hit a race this year. Which is fine cause I got a good reason. By the time I feel like really training again the cross season will have come and gone.
So here's my question for an audience of 5.
What are some good ideas for cross training in the off season?...

Racing cross! Get your ass out there and suffer with the rest of us!
Racing and you don't even need to train to race, or Hockey. Or suffer on your trainer like the rest of us. Don't be a Sally. Sally
Hmm? I'm hurt by the recent attacks on my manliness. I would think having a baby any day now would be reason enough not to worry about racing.
But know this, if I can make it to a race, I will.
Missed you at the Hudson CX. Bad race for me, but it was a beautiful day and a fun course.
Cross training for me becomes X-C skiing or hockey, or running as a last resort. Can't beat hockey for intense interval training, but I prefer X-C skiing because it seems to also cure all my aches and pains. Cyclocross is an ideal ramp up for X-C skiing by the way.
At any rate, you'd better start hitting the bike hard at the latest when March comes around if you want to be prepared for road racing next season. More dedicated roadies are starting to ramp it up in February.
Get it done while the kiddies are still young my friend!
Dan knows. How often do you here of a man planing to do one race and day and end up doing three?
If you would spend less time making babys you would have more time and energy to train and race.
ahh now wheres Zenia
Zenia??
Well lets play some hockey this winter then.
I don't need to talk about it I play it.
What level do you race the CX races? I would think Bs?
What fun would that be?
