Which should I ride for my return to Chequamegon this year?
My cross bike or my mountain bike?

CX bike won't give you any advantages, but more opportunity for mechanical problems. Unless you just want the challenge of doing it on a CX bike, I'd go MTB.
mtb all the way. I passed at least 4 CXers last year as they changed flats along the side of the trail. It is easily rideable on a CX, but for a long race, why intoduce the vulnerability?

Good luck either way!
Reeheehee...eely?
Do you even know what a CX bike is.
BTW- Don't ever challenge Dan's opinion again! You got it?!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Last time I did Cheq. there were no CX bikes basically.
I'm thinking of running skinnier tires than normal, 1.8's or 1.9's, or semi-slicks, unless it rains.
I can't wait to see how things have changed overall for the event:)
Should have ridden the cross bike dude...
I'll use the cross bike when someone wins Cheq on one.
